PADDLE INTO THE SUNSET ON A RISING SUN SUNSET TOUR! In the summer when the days are long and evenings are warm, a sunset paddle with Rising Sun Kayak Adventures is an unforgettable experience. Do sunsets ever get old? We think not, so why not join us on one of these beautifully serene tours where we can paddle out from English Bay, Indian Arm, and Howe Sound to enjoy a healthy and invigorating paddle and then stop at a beach or float with our friends to watch the sunset. Anytime there is a clear day in Vancouver, you can be sure that there will be a sunset paddle. The trip length is usually 4 hours with stops to stretch our legs at some of the areas more secluded beaches. Sunset trips are always a festive experience and why not combine it with one of our Full Moon tours as well where you can get the best of both worlds! We also offer beach barbeques - a great way to combine a sunset and enjoy some good beach barbequed food! Just let us know and we can design a custom sunset trip for you.
TRIP COST, DISCOUNTS AND WHAT IS INCLUDED Our sunset tours are the cheapest around with the nicest kayaks and the most entertaining guides! The cost, in Canadian dollars, for a full moon or evening kayak tours start at $75 per person. We also offer a 20% discount to all hostel guests and backpackers wanting to "Feel the Sun" on one of our evening tours. The reason for this is simple, we love traveling too and want to make our tours as affordable as we can for visitors to Vancouver who are hoping to see B.C. in all its beauty, and not go broke in the process!
For this price you will have access to one of our state-of-the-art Nimbus fiberglass and Kevlar kayaks for the evening. With the kayak comes all required safety equipment as well as your paddle and spray skirt. Any necessary kayak instruction will be provided by one of our safety certified kayak guides before your launch and at least two guides will be present for your tour, possibly more depending on the size of your group. Best of all, included in your price is a ride! Can’t make it to Deep Cove on your own? We are only 15 minutes from downtown and can come to pick you up at your hotel or hostel! WHAT IF I WANT TO GO ON AN EVENING WITH CLOUDS? We're ready to paddle any night of the year, rain or shine. Just let us know which night you want to go. We can arrange a custom trip at the same rate. SUGGESTED PACKING FOR AN EVENING TOUR For the most part, your guides will have the required lighting and safety equipment to insure a safe excursion but here are some recommended things that could enhance your experience. There is plenty of storage in each boat for any items you take along.
